DONNA'S NOTES ON USE
If you can't go past a lathering shampoo, then this is a gentle pH optimised one for great results from the cleanse, as well as more gentle results form the pH optimisation. I've used this on my own colour-treated hair and I have very fine strands which I don't normally like to use lathering shampoo on. I have been very happy with the duo of this shampoo and it's partner the K18 DAMAGE SHIELD™ pH Protective Conditioner. This was also used and recommended in the the CADO ACADEMY class with Reema Jaber, founder and creator of the Cado Cut.
WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE THIS K18 PRODUCT?
If you have are wanting an 'everyday' shampoo which lathers, and tend to be a frequent hair washer (eg; every 1-2 days), the K18 DAMAGE SHIELD™ pH Protective Shampoo will be your best and most gentle cleansing option.
IS THIS CLEANSER CURLY GIRL METHOD COMPATIBLE?
No, this cleanser lathers. Though it is sulphate-free, it does lather.
If you are following The Curly Girl Method as written by Lorraine Massey (author of 'Curly Girl: The Handbook'), the method does not incorporate lathering cleansers at ANY stage. (For our non-lathering cleansers, please see the other cleansers that we have available). However, if you are following the Cut It Kinky protocol for tight curls, or enjoy the use of a lathering shampoo this is a suitable product for use on all textures.
